Scars are narratives. They tell us about our own failures, clumsiness, medical pasts, broken hearts, existential crises, and so forth. No matter how much you change, how far you run, how many people you forget, or how many people forget you, your scars remain unchanged; a permanent life history. They are pale reminders of emotions and personalities past. I want to know yours.
Whether you're a recovering self-injurer, a tattoo addict, a survivor of dangerous surgery, a child-hood adrenaline addict, or a bad knife juggler, I urge you to show your scars and tell your stories.
